This page is our material-connection disclosure. It explains, in plain language, how Services Accessible is paid, what that arrangement can and can't affect, and what we would tell you if that ever changes.
How we actually make money
Right now there is exactly one revenue source: pay-per-call. Water damage restoration, plumbing and roofing pages show a category phone line (HVAC currently has none). When you dial one of those numbers, the call is routed to an independent, third-party service provider in a provider network — not to Services Accessible. We are not the contractor and we don't dispatch, supervise or guarantee the work.
A "connected call" means the call was answered and lasted long enough to count as a real inquiry, as defined by the provider network. When that happens, the network may pay us a fee. That fee is paid by the provider network, not by you, and it does not depend on whether you end up hiring anyone or buying anything. Calling the number costs you nothing beyond your own phone service, and Services Accessible never bills you for anything, ever — we have no checkout, no invoices and no way to charge a reader.
See how the call lines work for the full mechanics, and terms of use for the rest of the legal detail.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information as a "lead." Dialing a call line connects you directly to a provider network; we don't collect the call itself or resell your contact details to multiple companies.
- We don't rank or recommend specific contractors. Our guides describe how to vet and hire someone yourself — licensing lookups, insurance checks, getting multiple quotes — not which named company to pick.
- We don't run affiliate product links, an Amazon Associates account, referral links, sponsored posts, display ads or any other paid placement today. If a page ever looks like it's pushing a specific brand, that's a mistake — tell us.
The pay-per-call fee has no editorial influence
Whether a call connects has zero effect on what a guide says, how it's structured or which topics we cover. The same editors write and update every page regardless of call volume or fees. Our full sourcing, verification and independence rules are in the editorial policy.
If we ever add affiliate links, sponsorships or ads
We may in the future add affiliate product links, sponsored content, or display advertising. If we do, this page will be updated to name the new arrangement, and each instance will follow these rules:
- Labeled at the point of the link. An affiliate link or sponsored placement will say so right next to it — not buried in a footer or a separate page you'd have to go find.
- No influence on recommendations. A paid relationship will never change what we say is true, safe, or worth doing. If a product or company isn't good, we won't say it is because they paid us.
- Display ads, if added, will be marked as advertising and kept visually separate from our editorial content, consistent with FTC guidance on clear and conspicuous disclosure.
- Still no lead selling and no paid rankings. Adding a new revenue format would not change the rule above — we still would not sell your information as a lead, and we still would not accept payment to rank or feature a specific contractor.
We never call anyone "best" or "recommended"
You will not find a "best water damage company" list, a star rating of named contractors, or the word "recommended" attached to any specific business on this site. We point you to public, verifiable resources — state licensing boards, FEMA and NOAA hazard data, insurance-department guidance — and let you make the call.
