The short version
You can read every page on this site without creating an account or giving us any personal information. We do not sell data, we do not run a newsletter you didn't ask for, and we do not share your information with contractors.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. GA4 sets cookies and records approximate location, device type, pages viewed and referring site. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage. Google's own description of this processing is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard request logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and abuse prevention, typically for a short retention period.
- Search. The on-site search runs entirely in your browser. Your queries are not sent to us.
- Email. If you write to us we keep the message so we can answer it and act on corrections. We don't add you to any list.
Cookies
The only cookies set by this site come from Google Analytics. You can block them with your browser settings, a content blocker, or Google's opt-out add-on; the site works exactly the same without them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EU/UK under the GDPR) you may have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it deleted, or to object to processing. Because we hold almost nothing, requests are usually quick: email editor@servicesaccessible.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, note it on the home page.
