We source them from Openverse (which aggregates CC-licensed photos from Wikimedia Commons, government agencies and museums) and from Pexels, and only use licenses that are free for commercial use: CC0, Public Domain, CC BY, CC BY-SA, or the Pexels License. The in-article diagrams — flowcharts, cost charts, cross-sections — are original illustrations we draw for that specific guide, not photographs, and aren't listed here.
